Project Description

The scope of work included current-condition assessment, preliminary and final designs and construction management assistance. Existing infrastructure valuation included field- and video-verifying existing conditions and assessing structural and functional health of the current networks. Preliminary and final designs included the incorporation of new pipes, manholes and drop inlets as well as the redesign of existing piping and substructures in order to meet the rising demands of the contributing neighborhoods, schools and commercial developments.

In addition to the design of the improved storm and sanitary sewer networks, Eastern Sierra Engineering also provided construction management assistance to the City of Sparks. This included the engineer’s estimates, bidding assistance, submittal review, utility agency coordination and materials testing and inspection. This project within the 4th Street vicinity prefaced an upcoming RTC project that Eastern Sierra Engineering also designed and will manage and inspect.
